Convert RSS to Email Newsletters Automatically
Yesterday I wrote about FeedBurner and will discuss configuration tips at another time.Because you want to draw traffic to your blog quickly, I'm going to start out discussing just the sites and then future dates we'll discuss tweaking the configuration of these sites.
Today I want to introduce you to a new way of keeping your traffic coming back for more. Because RSS is still not being used broadly, another way of allowing your traffic to know when you have posted is to sign up for Aweber's Feed Broadcaster. This is a really cool way of creating site 'stickiness'.
Feed Broadcaster takes the feed, created by FeedBurner, and drops a blog update into your subscriber's email box. How cool is that? Now, whenever you blog, your list of subscribers automatically get the scoop. If you use Blogger, Feed Broadcaster can use the atom.xml feed found in your blogspot settings.
To get a subscriber, Aweber handles the setup too. It's all part of the service they provide. The only drawback is that this service is not free. But if you can afford about $20 a month, it will keep your hard earned traffic put.
